GOLD-FILLED

• If your item is gold-filled, it is extremely tarnish resistant. 
  While it is more durable than gold-plated, it may eventually tarnish if exposed
  to very harsh chemicals like some lotions, chlorine and salt water.  
• Remove gold-filled jewelry before swimming to make it last as
  long as possible
• For the longest life with the highest shine, remove your
  jewelry before swimming, showering and exercising. 

GOLD-PLATED

• If your item is gold-plated, it is tarnish resistant, not
  proof.  It will eventually tarnish if exposed to water, moisture, lotions,
  or chemicals.  
• Remove gold-plated jewelry before showering, swimming or
  exercising to make it last as long as possible
• Please be aware that some individual body pH's can also tarnish
  gold plating.  The oils in your skin may accelerate the tarnishing
  process, or cause that well-known green ring underneath.  If you know that
  you are prone to this, consider purchasing our gold-filled products or sterling
  silver.

• Any jewelry item made by The Gilded Witch (us!) can be customized for length up to two (2) inches. Need it longer or shorter? Let us know in a note when you checkout and we'll make it happen, free of charge!
• If the item is from another brand, we may be able to adjust the length using extenders. Please email us at contact@gildedwitch.com with the request and we'll let you know if it's possible.

We strive to ship all in-stock products within 1-2 business days.

We ship via USPS and UPS.  As of October 1st USPS has increased their processing time, so please allow 2-3 extra days for delivery going forward.

• PLEASE NOTE that the shipping estimate begins from the day your order is shipped, not the day the order is placed.  We do our best to ensure that all expedited orders are shipped out same-day if placed by 2pm, but during peak holidays hours they may be delayed by a day or two.  If you have a set deadline by which your package must arrive, it is best to reach out to us at contact@gildedwitch.com beforehand to ensure we can meet your expectations.  
• The Gilded Witch is not responsible for delayed or missing packages caused by shipping carriers and we do not issue refunds or send replacements for lost/missing/stolen packages.  We will of course assist in any way we can with locating your package.

RETURNS

• They're always free! Just email us at contact@gildedwitch.com for a return label within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and the item you would like to return.
• FINAL SALE items, perfumes, body oils and soap are not returnable.
• Items must be clearly unworn/unused/unopened to be accepted for a return (see exception below).
• The one exception? That dreaded green ring. If you find that your jewelry is causing a green tint to your skin due to skin pH, you can send it back for free within 30 days.
